Scrying

Scrying is actually one of the oldest methods used for divining the future. The word Scrying has meaning behind it, derived from ‘descry’ an old English word that meant to reveal, or to make out dimly. Those that offer scrying as part of their clairvoyant skills, use an object that has a reflective or shiny surface, in many cases the crystal ball will be the first choice, but others may use a favourite crystal, or something with personal meaning to them.

History

It is thought that you can trace Scrying back to China in 3000BC, Egypt in 2500BC and Ancient Greece in 2000BC. In those times crystals may still have been used, but also cracked eggs and oil that was placed into vessels. It was only later that crystal balls and mirrors were used as the form of divination developed.

Method

  • The first step is to clear the mind, some clairvoyants may prefer to enter a trance like state to achieve full concentration.

Magic

MagicHalloween seems like the perfect time to discuss magic, as the season conjures up all things sorcery.

Magic is for many a combination of science and art; the science part is in researching witchcraft and following a specific spell and method, and the art comes in the form of your insights, intuition and creative abilities! Both elements are needed in order to alter the natural forces to bring about your will and produce a new outcome.

Black Magic – White Magic

No doubt you will have heard the terms ‘Black Magic’ and ‘White Magic’. Magic that is used with the purpose of causing someone harm or being used to manipulate and circumvent free will is black magic, and white magic is where you wish to bring about a positive outcome.

But of course, things are not that simple, and life is not black and white. For example, if a person wished another to fall in love with them, then the desired outcome is a positive one, but it could not be achieved without influencing the will of the object of desire!

So, for some people the term black magic will be reserved for spells that draw on evil forces. (more…)

  • You will need to cut pieces of card, all to the same size – you can base these on the size of playing cards; or go bigger if your shuffling abilities are not great, or you really want to go to town on the design of the cards!

Have a Spiritual Halloween

HalloweenI often think of Halloween as being a ‘festival’ that is highly celebrated in America, but according to statistics the UK spent in excess of £300 million in 2016 on things related to celebrating Halloween.

Perhaps it is not surprising as supermarkets and shops embrace the holiday and find new ways to entice us into buying fancy dress costumes and trick or treat chocolates and so on. No sooner have ‘back to school’ items been put away then the isles will be filled with a sea of witches’ hats, and all things black, orange and purple!

Of course if you have children you may need to embark on a few of these more commercial adventures, but perhaps you could also look at new and more spiritual ways to ring in All Hallow’s Eve, as many of the day’s origins are far more sacred in nature. (more…)

Psychic to the Stars!

TV Work

Over the past couple of years I have been on This Morning quite a few times most recently working with Holly Willoughby and Dermot O’Leary. I was on The Greg James show again working with Dermot O’Leary and also Greg James, whom I gave readings to on air.

Earlier this year I appeared on the Alan Carr show where I gave Karl Pilkington a reading on TV, I appeared on Loose Women six weeks ago where I read Katie Price and Adam Hill on air and also recently I appeared on American TV.

I have had various articles written in Soho Magazine Columbia. I have given guidance to many people including celebrities and the feedback has been amazing.

As you might expect The Life Line deals with your life in general, taking in to account the ups and downs, the difficult times that you will face, as well as the joys that will fill your lifetime. The major occurrences in a person’s life will appear along this line; but perhaps more importantly it also shows how much zest for life you have – the more impetus you have the deeper the line will be…

The head line deals with your intelligence. Are you a logical thinker? Are you a rational person? Can you easily get your ideas across to others? Are you more inclined to think negatively? Are you egotistical? Do others respect you? Do you have great wisdom and can you speak with authority? All this and more will show…

Whether a life has run true to course or has been fraught with difficulties & tough choices will show up in The Fate Line. Essentially this line shows the path you have taken through life, breaks in the line can mean you have faced adversity; forks in the line can mean new interests.

But perhaps not surprisingly the line that many are most interested in is The Heart Line. Which of course deals with relationships – are they difficult/or are they happy? The line shows how good we are or not at expressing our emotions to others, and whether we are likely to run our lives by listening to our head or to our hearts! Breaks in the line can mean disturbed emotional energy. The line deals will all different types of love and relationship elements in our lives and also our connection to Spirit and the inner world.

One of the minor lines on the hand that also interests people are The Line of Marriage. It might have been in time gone by that this line represented marriage, but in current times it is more likely to represent the serious relationships in our lives. Each line will denote a relationship that had a significant impact on us – the deeper the line the more effect it had.

Pendulums

Crystal PendulumA pendulum is simply a weight attached to a piece of thread; many people use their favourite healing crystal as the weight. Used correctly it can be one of the simplest and yet most effective forms of divination.

Often a pendulum that is made by you will give you a more enhanced psychic reading. The weight and the way the weight hangs is the most important factor. It should be symmetrical so that the swing is not distorted and it needs to be heavy enough to oscillate with good momentum. Often a long pointed shaped weight will give the best results – try making one with a crystal, a pendant, a ring or even keys.

Pendulum readings are based on a simple premise of the pendulum giving you a yes or no answer. When you first start you will need to establish which direction means yes and which means no. Try a few practise questions to confirm all is working as it should.

There are two other forms of questions – search and silly. A ‘search’ response is a wide swing and this means that the pendulum is busy trying to find an answer to your question. A ‘silly’ response is generally a dithery undetermined swing, which means that you have either asked it a question that cannot be given a yes or no answer or it feels it has answered the question albeit in a way that you do not yet realise. Sometimes a silly response can mean that the pendulum and you are not working well together, it is important for this reason to go through the four responses at the beginning of each session and occasionally you have to accept that it is just not a good time for a reading.

You need to come to the reading with a clear mind, so that you do not influence the outcome of the reading. The pendulum will connect with your thoughts and your spirit guides. When people are more experienced they may work with the pendulum when dowsing, to find ghosts and spirits and even as a form of hypnotherapy to create a deeper state of awareness.

When you are ready, either think of a question or say it out loud – then ask the pendulum to show you a no or to show you a yes answer in response. The possibilities are endless…
