6th Sense

6th SenseDr Trisha Stratford a neuropsychotherapist has conducted research atSydney’sUniversityofTechnologyto prove that sixth sense between two people does exist.

Dr Stratford is considered an expert in brain behaviour and has spent 5 years monitoring couples interactions in a non physical manner. She has established that despite the lack of physical contact, two people can become physiologically aligned with parts of their nervous systems beating harmoniously. This gives us insight not just to the way people interact with each other including falling in love. (more…)

Palmistry

PalmistryMany say that the eyes are the window to a person’s soul, but a palm reader would not agree! Palmistry dates back 1000+ years and can be traced to India and China although many cultures and countries adopted the practice. Palmistry is mentioned in Sanskrit, Vedic and Semitic ancient texts. Palm reading did not become popular in Europe until the eighteenth century, often practised by gypsies and today is still often associated with gypsy fortune telling.

Palmistry studies the lines, texture and shape of the hand, as well as the fingers, knuckles, wrists and joints. Every human hand is unique, no two palm prints or finger prints are the same. Carl Jung (one of the founders of psychoanalysis) believed that palmistry is the outward appearance of the secrets that we try to hide. (more…)

Psychic Abilities Explained

Psychic Abilities ExplainedBroadly speaking there are four different categories of psychic ability. None of them are better than the other – just different. Most psychics find they naturally lean to one or two of these talents.

Clairvoyance is probably the most widely known skill and it means “clear seeing”, it describes the ability to see spirit forms either in the minds eye or as a materialisation.

Clairsentience meaning “clear feeling” is the ability to tune into other peoples emotional or psychical distress just as if it were happening to them. This can also be looked on as highly tuned intuition. (more…)

Akashic Records

Akashic RecordsThe Akashic Records are considered to be an enormous vibrational library that keeps details of everything that we have done in this life and in previous ones, giving this information from our point of view and that of other people. It also holds records of the possible futures. These records go back to when time began. The Akashic Records are also referred to as the Book of Life, and, as such have nine entries in the Bible. Other terms used are Cosmic Mind, Universal Mind, Eye of God and Word of God. They are referred to in nearly every spiritual tradition and religion. The name Akasha comes from the Tibetan language, meaning unseen space or storage space. (more…)

Energy Eating

Energy Eating FruitIn the summer most of us find it easier to get up in the morning and good weather tends to boost our mood, making us feel happier and full of energy. If however you are not feeling a spring in your step, then it just may be down to your diet. Try boosting your system with foods that give you more energy.

Missing breakfast will most likely set you on the path of an energy slump by mid morning. Try eating slow releasing energy food like oats as soon as you get up, it will digest slowly so you do not feel hungry and will balance your blood sugar levels. Porridge is a great option or an oat based cereal or if you are pushed for time a cereal bar or flapjack made with oats will do – just watch the sugar and fat levels. (more…)

Slip, Slop, Slap

Woman Applying Sun CreamIt’s fair to say that the UK has its share of dreary weather with June’s rain being a prime example; the problem is this has left us all a little careless with sun screen, with most of us only buying it and applying it when we are jetting off to sunnier climes. So it may surprise you to know that in the UK there are now more cases of skin cancer per year than breast and lung cancer combined – which equates to around 10,400 cases of malignant melanoma diagnoses each year. Melanoma makes up 10% of skin cancers and it is the most serious due to its ability to spread to other organs; 2000 people in England and Wales die from this each year. Then there is the less aggressive non-melanoma, with an estimated 100,000 new cases each year which thankfully in most cases are unlikely to spread are less aggressive and generally can be treated. Team GB Going for Gold

Olympic Games GB flagWith the London 2012 Olympic Games almost upon us, are you ready for the biggest sporting event that the United Kingdom has ever seen? Did you know that at the 2008 Beijing Olympics Great Britain came 4th on the medal table bringing home a total of 47 medals including 19 Gold. This included Britain coming top of the table in track cycling winning 7 Gold, 3 Silver and 2 Bronze medals.

I personally remember Sebastian Coe & Steve Ovett standing next to each other on the podium in Moscow in 1980. Then there was Daley Thompson winning Gold in the 1984 Men’s Decathlon in Los Angeles. Of course who can fail to remember the British Men’s Coxless Four celebrating in the rowing and Kelly Holmes holding the Union Jack above her head after winning two Golds in Athens 2008? (more…)

Improve Your Psychic Ability Through Fun Games

Psychic AbilitiesDeveloping psychic abilities takes plenty of time and practice, there are fun games available though that will make this process seems much more enjoyable.

Remote Viewing is the ability to see distant places and people using the power of your mind. To try practicing this ability there are a few games a psychic can play.

In the first game the budding clairvoyant will try to picture what a friend or family member is wearing before they meet them. They should try to picture not only the type of clothes but also the colour. Once you have met your friend it will be easy to validate how accurate you are.

The second game is similar to the first however this time it involves places rather than people. The psychic student should try picturing a destination before arriving there. Try to picture what colour the walls are, what the doors look like, what furniture is in the room etc. (more…)
